There's lots of stuff going on for young people during the week and on sundays! God doesn't put an age limit on faith, and so at Bethany City Church neither do we; we're keen for people of all ages to develop a relationship with God and Jesus Christ through learning about Him, trusting Him for forgiveness and experiencing His faithfulness in daily life.
At the same time we love to have a laugh together; whether its playing mad games, chilling out eating toasties, nerf-gun battles or extreme volleyball. We want to love God, live like Jesus and become great friends!
Each year we also have a youth weekend away and this year (April 27-29th) we're going to Bassenfell Manor near Keswick in the Lake District! We're going to have an awesome time so if you want to come along its still not too late to sign up..
if you want to come along and get involved then either turn up one evening or get in touch with me (Joel)

Here's your options :

Rock Solid is a lively club for 11's to 14's. The club exists to share the good news about Jesus through friendships, fun and interactive activities. It always includes a challenge to respond. For many young people, Rock Solid is the start of their journey to faith, and provides the foundations for their growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We run Rock Solid at Sunderland Free Church on Stockton Road at 7-8.30pm, Wednesday nights.

FRIDAY is our Youth Club for those who are 14 years and over - we meet at Sunderland Free Church and is unsurprisingly on a Friday night from 7.30 pm until about 9.30pm.. Depending what night you catch us we could be doing anything from: extreme volleyball / listening to music / lazing about / attempting table tennis / eating toasties / chatting and joking around / the awesome saucepan....
.. or any other ideas you have!?

How about coming to church with us on a Sunday morning? There's coffee, tea and juice from 10.30am and the service starts at 11. We take part in the first half of the service, sing some songs, pray and often have quite a laugh and then for the second half we head out and find some comfy seats and discuss things about God and Jesus. We try and learn from each other and from the Bible. Then we head back, join everyone else and often hang around for a bit (11-14s).

meets on Sunday nights for our young people (13+). We meet in a different home each week, so check the Bulletin or tweet me if you want to turn up at the right place. Sunday@6 offers food, friendship and an opportunity to talk things through that are on your mind. Most weeks we'll also study a bit of the bible together and look at what it teaches us about God and how its relevant for our lives!
If you would like more information about any of these groups please email us.
