Children are very much part of Bethany City Church. Every week we worship all together and then the children (from 3 years old to the end of school year 10) go to their groups just before the message. If your children have not attended Beacons (3-10) or The Grid (11-14) before please ask someone or just follow the others and they will be directed to the correct location. We do encourage you to help your children to take part in the service, however there are colouring pens and pages available from the Welcome Desk if they get restless, if you do borrow pens please return them at the end of the service.

Every week, during term time, The Ark toddler group meets at Sunderland Free Church on Stockton Road, near Sunderland Interchange. There is a mountain of toys to play with, and a story and sing-song. The grown ups get coffee and the opportunity to chat with the other parents/carers and leaders who attend.

Some facts about the Ark

The age range is from birth to 5, we meet on Mondays 9.30- 11.30.

The Ark is free of charge and there is no waiting list. Refreshments provided for both adults and children. There is currently a great mix of mums, dads, grandparents, childminders and carers

We also offer a chance for the older children to get "stuck" into a craft activity.
