On the third Sunday of each month we meet as church family in the evening from 6-7pm.  This informal service aims to achieve three things:-

• Firstly, by sharing communion together we refocus our vision on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

• Secondly, as we worship God together and pray for the church and one another we trust God to refresh us as we seek to be a church that reaches Sunderland with the message of Jesus.

• Thirdly, we reflect on the Bible together and think creatively about what it means for Christians today.  Often some of our own partners share their stories of God at work in their lives.

These evenings have a very different feel to our main Sunday morning services, but they are a vital part of our family life together at Bethany City Church.
