Bethany City Church Quiz & Ceilidh - 20th April

We will be holding a Quiz and Ceilidh Night at The Quayside Exchange on 20th April. The charge will be £3.00 (concessions £1.50) and proceeds will go towards our premises fund.

Regional Event: Wearside Youth for Christ Quiz Night

Our friends at Wearside YFC are holding a Quiz Night at Sunderland Free Church, Stockton Road on 30th March at 7.00pm. The tickets are £3.00 each and it is suggested that teams should consist of 6-8 people. If, however, you wish to come on your own, please do so as there is bound to be a team you can join on the night.

Joint Baptismal Service - 18th March - 6.00pm

We are holding a joint Baptismal Service at Bethany Christian Centre, Houghton le Spring DH5 8PF on Sunday 18th March at 18:00. Please come along and support those who are being baptised. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please see Andrew Laws. (This service is replacing our 3rd Sunday event at The Place).

On 13th March, Emmanuel College, Gateshead are hosting an evening of music and words with a jazz ensemble, "Renewal". The organisers of this event say it is an incredible opportunity to share the gospl with friends through the story of the routes of Jazz music. Why not consider who you can take?

Lawyers Christian Fellowship Event - 8th March

The Lawyers Christian Fellowship have arranged for Rev Stuart Windsor, who is a Special Ambassador for Christian Solidarity Worldwide to visit Sunderland. Stuart will bring some powerful up to date stories of Christian persecution around the world, and his work involved with seeking asylum for the most vulnerable. The event will be held at Hebron Church - 7.30pm - refreshments served from 6.45pm. There is no charge, but a collection will be taken.

Sunday Night Live - March 4th
