Bethany City Church is a motley crew of Christians and their friends who come together to worship God. Throughout the week we meet in all kinds of ways - and for all kinds of reasons – explore our website and you will see what we mean.

Though we began meeting in the Stadium of Light (Sunderland’s football stadium) we now meet at the Quayside Exchange on the opposite side of the river. This is a handsome building with excellent facilities and a great view out to sea. During the rest of the week we use a variety of venues including café’s and a local church – flexibility is central to our philosophy of doing church.

Join us on a Sunday morning and you will meet both established Christians and others who are just looking. Some of us have been Christians for years, others have just started the journey, and many are not too sure what they believe! Many are local people, but we are also quite international with people joining us from other parts of the world.

We meet at the Quayside Exchange on High Street East – every Sunday at 11:00am. Refreshments are served beforehand. (Click here for directions). _______________________________________________________________________________
